Earthquake-Resistant Central Air Conditioners Seismo Series

Description and Application:

Central air conditioners of the Expert Seismo series are designed to create and maintain an artificial climate in ventilation systems for facilities in areas of increased seismic activity and high fault tolerance requirements. These include sea vessels of all types and purposes, floating and stationary oil and gas platforms.

Distinctive Features:

The air conditioners of the Expert Seismo series have a rigid welded support frame with special antivibration elements having restricted movment on which all parts of the air conditioner are rigidly fixed. The other type is where the whole system is installed on a separate “floating” support platform, providing protection from external vibrations, shocks, shaking and hanging.

The air conditioner housing has stiffening ribs. All components of the air conditioner have a reinforced structure.

Special design of mounting and fixing elements: Soleco Engineering vibration supports, Ebm-Papst maintenance-free high performance EC motors with external rotor, rigid and lightweight Arosio/ProLam aluminium profile frame, intelligent automation based on the Danfoss, Carel, Siemens and Segnetics controllers – all this guarantees high reliability of the Expert Seismo series air conditioners when operating in extreme conditions.
