Description and Application:

Central air conditioners of explosion-proof EX series are designed to create and maintain an artificial climate in rooms with higher explosion danger of defense, chemical, petrochemical and oil refinery industries.

The set of sections enables to carry out all kinds of air treatment – filtration, heating, cooling, humidification, dehumidification, and maintain specified parameters of an artificial climate in the rooms under service.

Distinctive Features:

The frame of the air conditioners is made of high-strength aluminum profile ProLam, heat and noise insulation are achieved by using sandwich panels with non-combustible mineral wool filler, the corner joint connector of the profile is made of steel.

The design ensures maximum rigidity, bending and torsion strength, and, consequently, the air-conditioner leak proofness.

The air conditioner housing is additionally equipped with reinforced door hinges, all detachable maintenance panels are equipped with limit switches. All surfaces which could accumulate static electricity are grounded. The electrical equipment has explosion-proof terminals for connecting the power supply and preventing sparks during operation and maintenance.

Air conditioners are designed to meet the standards and requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union “On safety of equipment for operation in explosive environments” (ТР ТС 012/2011); ГОСТ 31438.1-2011(EN 1127-1:2007), ГОСТ 31441.1-2011(EN 13463-1:2001), ГОСТ 31441.5-2011(EN 13463-5:2005), ГОСТ Р МЭК 60079-0-2011.
